Ringo Starr is scheduled to release his second ever EP, Zoom In, on the 19th of March 2021, marking over fifty years of his solo career. The release of the EP is preceded by single Here’s to the Nights which is available now.
The king of peace and love assembles an all star line-up to guest on the single including former bandmate Sir Paul McCartney who is currently celebrating the release of his McCartney III LP. Ringo is also joined by Joe Walsh, Corinne Bailey Rae, Sheryl Crow, FINNEAS, Dave Grohl, Lenny Kravitz, Chris Stapleton and Yola, plus more.
Ringo notes: “I wanted it out in time for New Years because it feels like a good song to end a tough year on. So here’s to the nights we won’t remember and the friends we won’t forget – and I am wishing everyone peace and love for 2021.”
The Beatle has continued to release regularly with his most recent studio album being 2019’s What’s My Name? – his twentieth in total. Zoom In marks only his second EP, following his 1995 promo EP 4-Starr Collection. Check out the full tracklist below:
