RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series 2 Gets a Trailer

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, like the Canadian, Dutch and Thai versions of the hit series have showed us that the wealth of talent of international queens out there is awe-inspiring. The arrival of the BBC’s slightly delayed second series of the UK incarnation on the 16th January 2021 will undoubtedly bring some much needed joy to the winter months.

The upcoming series has been teased with a brand new trailer featuring the latest batch of performers hoping to be crowned the UK’s next drag superstar, following The Vivienne’s crowning in 2019. The surreal trailer sees the Queens assembled in a makeshift dressing room, introducing themselves whilst we see giant bagpipes (representative of one of two Scottish queens Lawrence Chaney), a Lady Godiva inspired look, talking sheep, and even RuPaul making a few appearances.

At the moment a few of the guest judges including Elizabeth Hurley, Sheridan Smith, and MNEK have been confirmed, with the latter half waiting to be unveiled. Regular judges Alan Carr, Graham Norton, and Michelle Visage will also feature again.
