German pop favourite Thomas Anders releases his first English language single since 2016 with the Italo-disco inspired Cosmic Rider. The former Modern Talking frontman shines against shimmering contemporary disco production, soaring backing vocals, and rippling synths.
Packed with space themed imagery, Cosmic Rider sees Thomas croon “And I’m a cosmic rider up in the sky, And I’m a sole survivor, I fly so high, No, baby, I’m born again, No, born again tonight” against barnstorming production from Christian Geller – who also co-writes the track with Thomas. The track features backing vocals from the choir originally featured on the second Modern Talking album, Let’s Talk About Love.
Thomas confirmed this will form part of a new English language studio album called COSMIC. The singer’s most recent album was Das Album featuring Florian Silbereisen.
