We are being well fed by Tom Aspaul who follows up his flawless debut album Black Country Disco with a brand new track, The Program. The new single is set to feature on upcoming remix album Black Country Discothèque which arrives March 15th.
The Program is written by Christopher Dellosa, Madeleine Wood and Tom Aspaul, and produced by Funk LeBlanc. It’s a euphoric eighties-inspired gem with immaculate production from Funk LeBlanc which transports us to a shimmering eighties nightclub.
On the new chapter of Black Country Disco, Tom notes: “It feels like the perfect progression sonically – we’re definitely in a new decade – and I’m actually relieved to be singing about something other than heartbreak! Having Madeleine Wood on board with vocals is a bonus too, her voice really complements mine and her songwriting is incredible.”
Black Country Discothèque is set to feature collaborations with MNEK, Bright Light Bright Light, and Initial Talk. Amongst the remixes of Black Country Disco tracks, the album is expected to feature new material in the form of Robin Thicke cover with a twist Wanna Love U Boy.
