Patrik Jean Releases Poignant Acoustic Version of ‘Tears Run Dry’

If you’re like us and fell head over heels for Patrik Jean’s Melodifestivalen entry Tears Run Dry, then prepare yourself. The Swedish musical talent has followed the release with a special acoustic version accompanied by a poignantly atmospheric video directed by Magnus Ragnvid.

Tears Run Dry was written by Patrik, Melanie Wehbe, and Herman Gardarfve – with production from Herman. The acoustic rendition allows Patrik’s vocals to further shine and highlight the emotional resonance of the track’s lyrics which soar against stripped back guitar-centric production.

Tears Run Dry has since gone on to pass over two million streams on Spotify and remains one of the standout tracks of the 2021 Melodifestivalen season.
