Country Goddess Reba McEntire Returns With Diane Warren Penned ‘Somehow You Do’

“When you think that the mountain’s too high and the ocean’s too wide and you’ll never get through, Someway, somehow you do,” Reba sings on her new single Somehow You Do. The track sees her reunite with Diane Warren who wrote her hits What If and I’ll Be back in the nineties.

The new collaboration, produced by regular producer Tony Brown will feature as part of the soundtrack for Four Good Days starring Glenn Close and Mila Kunis. The video for Somehow You Do is Reba’s first music video since 2017’s gospel single Back to God. The desert set video short by John Avnet sees Reba walking through an empty barren landscape intercut with clips from the upcoming film release. The song is a rousing ballad that sees Reba deliver her expected charisma and dramatic Oklahoma flair.

Reba’s most recent album was 2019’s Stronger Than the Truth. She recently featured on Loretta Lynn’s Still Woman Enough album earlier this year.
