Oscar Zia has released a new slice of Swedish language pop excellence in Ta på mig (‘Touch Me’) co-written with Petter Tarland and Jonas Jurström. Jonas also produces the track which follows Oscar’s previous Swedish-language singles Skuggor and Då tror du fel.
Ta på mig sticks with a similar euphoric electronic production style to Då tror du fel with Oscar crooning against an up-tempo, gradually building electronic pop beat. Oscar dedicated the track to those who want to dance all summer and those that hate being alone. The track is an ode to human connection – particularly that of the casual romantic kind as Oscar sings “Jag vill inte veta veta mer / Vill bara ta det steg för steg / Jag vill inte veta veta mer / Vill bara ta det steg för steg” (translating as “I do not want to know more / Just just want to take it step by step / I do not want to know more / Just want to take it step by step…”)
