Dyllón Burnside was one of the breakout stars of FX’s Pose and like his co-star Michaela Jae he is pushing on with musical ventures outside the show. Dyllón’s latest single Heaven, a collaboration with Daley, is a smooth soulful pop number that sets him up as an exciting rising talent.
The singer notes: “This song is a love letter to myself, anyone I’ve ever called a lover and to all who have been persecuted, ostracized or ridiculed for loving another human being. Love is pure. Love is holy. Love is the only pathway to Heaven because God is Love.”
Written by Dyllón and Phinisey – the latter of whom also produces – Heaven is a slick ode to love comparing it to Heaven. The track sees Dyllón deliver an impressively strong vocal, which his voice cruises across Phinisey’s smooth grooves and warming melody.
Heaven follows Dyllón’s 2020 single Silence. Connect with him here.
