Kylie Minogue and Lady Gaga Bless Us This Pride With Anniversary Version of ‘Marry the Night’

We thought Lady Gaga couldn’t top collaborating with Orville Peck on the new version of Born This Way released last week to celebrate the album of the same name’s tenth anniversary – yet she continues to do so. The Chromatica icon recruits bona fide superstar and gay icon Kylie Minogue to the ball for a new version of Marry the Night.

The new Kylie solo version of Marry the Night features on Born This Way Reimagined: The Tenth Anniversary which sees Gaga recruit several LGBTQ+ icons and talents to cover tracks from the album. Whilst the full tracklist has yet to be announced, Big Freedia’s version of Judas has been released, as has Orville Peck’s country mix of Born This Way.

Kylie’s spin on Marry the Night is produced by Biff Stannard and Duck Blackwell, with the original track also written by Kylie collaborator Fernando Garibay and Gaga. The track feels slight more sped up than Gaga’s original, yet it’s dancepop sound perfectly fits Kylie’s sound, sitting comfortably alongside her catalogue.

Born This Way Reimagined: The Tenth Anniversary arrives on June 25th.
