He’s the world’s disco dad, Michael Medrano returns with a brand new single in the form of I Don’t Wanna Talk About Love which he co-writes with Dan Gleyzer and Emma Sophia Rosen (VVAVES) – with production from Gleyzer.
Michael sings “I don’t wanna talk about love / I don’t wanna open up / I think that we talk too much / There ain’t gonna be no, “us”…” in lyrics centred on hooking up and avoiding looking for long-term relationships. With an infectious melody, smooth vocals from Michael, and bouncing electronic production from Gleyzer, I Don’t Wanna Talk About Love is another triumph for the rising talent.
The single follows Michael’s previous 2021 release Sugar with Dance Yourself Clean and sits comfortably with his fellow bangers Fluids, Hands On U, Do Your Thing! and Bump This.
