Polish star KUBA has been a firm favourite at Culture Fix for some time with the rising talent coming close to representing his home nation at Eurovision with bangers including Lovesick and You Do Me. After a surprising collaboration with Swedish star LIAMOO on Running With Lightning, KUBA continues to collaborate with Swedish hitmakers for his new single Light Go Loud.
KUBA works with Warner Music Sweden on the track which is written by Anderz Wrethov, Benjamin Rosenbohm, Emil Lei and Marcus Winter John. The rousing high energy production is crafted by Anderz Wrethov and Emil Lei, blending a rootsy-Avicii flavoured dance pop that the Swedes do so well. Delivering an anthemic chorus, KUBA’s impressive vocals carry the uplifting and hopeful message of the track.
We have a sneaking suspicion that KUBA could be a name to watch out for at next year’s Melodifestivalen with the Swedish Eurovision selection no stranger to importing talented European acts like Poland’s Margaret, Spain’s Baccara and Ukraine’s Maria Sur.
You can get to know KUBA in our interview with the star from a couple of years ago. Connect with him here.
