Daniel Donksoy releases his first new music in three years, with the impressive Sippin’. The Moscow born star has become a citizen of the world, spending vast amounts of time in Berlin, Tel Aviv and London – with the concept of home underpinning the star’s new music. On the track, Daniel works with songwriter Julia Kautz and the producers SAIN (Kelvin Jones, Trettman), releasing the number under the DONSKOY moniker.
Daniel says, “It feels so good to go back to what has always been my most real and raw form of expression. Music has always been there for me – in the good times when it feels like the sun is shining everyday through to the moments when you question your entire existence as an artist. Knowing that I’m back to sharing my songs with an audience fills me with joy. It’s about not wanting to stop or be stopped. To keep ‘SIPPIN’, on something or someone… I’ll leave that up to the listener’s imagination but it’s definitely a song that’s on the naughtier side. Sometimes all you need is one more sip.”
Sippin’ sees Daniel deliver a distinctive emotive and seductive vocal against modern electronic R&B flavoured production that emphasises the star’s effective songwriting and distinctive cool. Daniel is set to tap into an even wider base of listeners after winning The Masked Singer Germany.
The number is set to be followed by more new music from Daniel.
