We’ve been fans of Blake Proehl for some time and we were delighted to see the Former NFL player’s musical success on American Idol. Now the star plots a US tour and delivers some new music in the form of single Crazy Stupid Love which leans into contemporary country sounds.
Blake’s versatility is on full display on the number – not to mention his charismatic vocals and cool – as he croons atop a catchy country melody. A press release shares: “When writing “Crazy Stupid Love,” Blake aimed to encapsulate the feeling of being on the beach with friends without a care in the world.”
The star adds: “This song feels so authentic to me as an artist and that is so refreshing. I can truly say that this is the start of a new era for me. I can’t thank you guys enough for everything up to this point. None of this is possible without yall. Can’t wait to sing this live with yall this fall….. “
Blake co-writes the track with Chelsea Lena, Fran Hall and Pom Pom, with production from Kellen Pomeranz. Expect plenty more music from Blake!
