Italian Music Talent Alex Aureo Finds Light in Darkness with ‘The Deeper The Cut’

Albano Laziale native, rising talent Alex Aureo released his debut single Swear to Defend earlier this year, with the number shining as an intimate and reflective insight into Alex’s musical world. Alex continues his musical passions with new single The Deeper The Cut highlighting the idea of beauty and meaning arising from pain.

Alex shared: “I wrote this song to express how every negative thing that happens to you during your life is meant to teach you something. The deeper you have been cut (the pain you’ve suffered) the brighter your inner light will be able to shine through that cut.”

The Italian heartthrob shares: “It’s about going through hard times and holding on. Knowing that you have within you all the strength you need. Because there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, there is always the sun behind the clouds. It’s how life teaches us.”

The Deeper The Cut shines thanks to Alex’s bold vocal, and his intimate and heartfelt songwriting skills paired with atmospheric production.

Prior to his music releases, Alex pursued tattooing while keeping his passion for music alive. After establishing a successful tattoo studio in Rome and working with celebrities like Demi Lovato, he felt inspired to revisit music. Last summer, Alex began writing music again, finding relaxation in singing while tattooing. Encouraged by viral success on TikTok and a life-changing Lewis Capaldi concert, he decided to dive back into music.
