Malta’s very own Sarah Bonnici returns with new music in the form of energetic new single Love You Like That. The single is written by Edward Abela and Sarah, with production from Abela aka Midnight.
The singer is every bit the star on the new track which is a seductively sleek pop anthem which comes accompanied by a video featuring the Maltese star and a gang of oiled up dancers: Matt Jordan, Victor Allen, Jamie Bell and William Almeida.
Sarah shared with followers on Instagram: “Sometimes I struggle to write and be creative. I start overthinking everything and my mind gets a block. In these moments, I always try to remind myself how important music is to me and try keep pushing. But it’s not always easy…”
She continues: “Nothing was making sense just before I wrote ‘Love You Like That’, everything I was writing was just not good enough.. Until I showed up to the studio one morning and out of nowhere wrote the song in just a few hours.” Discussing the secret behind the track flowing naturally, she shares: “I think it’s all about just freeing your mind from too many expectations. Being a little kinder to yourself and just believing that you can do it.”
Sarah became a firm favourite of pop fans across the globe thanks to his stellar performance of original song Loop at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2024, where the track shined as a true underrated fan favourite.
