Italian music icon Mina Mazzini continues release some of her best music as she navigates her eighty-fourth year. The prolific musician continues to explore new sounds and collaborations in recent years – just last year collaborating with Blanco on Un Briciolo Di Allegria which featured on Mina’s album Ti amo come un pazzo. Now Mina readies her follow-up album, revealing its lead single Buttalo Via.
Buttalo Via is written by Francesco Gabbani, Massimiliano Pani and Ugo Bongianni with the lush orchestral production crafted by Pani. Mina’s vocals deliver a rich romanticism and storytelling finesse to the fold, with Buttalo Via continuing to showcase an artist very much in her prime. The video continues to explore this with stunning movements from dancer Tommaso Stanzani.
Mina’s new album will be available from November 22nd. Titles, cover art and tracklists are yet unannounced – as so often the case with Mina’s new albums – but these will be unveiled closer to the release. The album will also contain track L’Amore Vera which featured in Balenciaga’s most recent campaign.
