The line-up for Croatia’s Eurovision Song Contest selection Dora is another impressive one with twenty-four contenders all hoping follow in Baby Lasagna’s footsteps – and get one place higher in Basel than the Rim Tim Tagi Dim hitmaker. One star who might just do it is rising talent IVXN (Ivan Milić) who presents his thrilling new composition Monopol.
The star stands out on Monopol thanks to his beautiful delivery of the Croatian language set against slow-burning electronic production which builds to powerhouse high energy levels. As the chorus hits, Monopol brings in traditional Croatian instrumentation, big vocals, and fiery electronic beats. This is a true musical feast for the senses and IVXN packs a multitude of energy into the standout track.
The handsome star who has had a passion for music and Eurovision since childhood. Ivan gained a degree in Economics and has lived in the US and Spain, but now resides in his native Croatia. The musician has dreamt of performing in Dora and now his dream comes true. IVXN co-writes with Ananda Đuranović, Andreas Björkman, and Jonas Ekdahl. Jonas Ekdahl and Beemon produce.
Semi-finals for Dora take place on Thursday 27 February and Friday 28 February with a final scheduled for Sunday 2 March,
