David Archuleta releases one of his strongest songs yet with the carefree and energetic new single Crème Brulée. David spoke about the single when we interviewed him last month, with the star showcasing his excitement for embracing a fun and flirty side on the new track – and this is something he has truly delivered.
David shares: “All this time I’ve been singing Spanish covers, but I’ve never had that Spanish flare in my own pop music. I wanted to get in touch with my Latin roots, have fun, be flirty, and explore the sensual side of David.” This vibe very much continues in the slinky video directed by Nathan Kim.
The chorus sees David purr: “Oh no There goes all of your clothes Speaking words you don’t know Yo te vuelvo loco, loco” atop sultry twinkling production from Michael Blum. David co-writes with Ryan Nealon & Robyn Dell’Unto, with the number expected to be the first taste of his upcoming summer-scheduled EP.
