Norwegian pop heroes Donkeyboy make a long-awaited return with a brand new single Galileo, a jubilant pop comeback for the stars who gave us hits such as Ambitions and City Boy.
Galileo is written by Cato Sundberg, Kent Sundberg, Martin Kleveland, Nick Hahn, and Thomas Andersson Drabløs, production is provided by Cato and Kent. With big pop hooks, bubbling synths and those unmistakable vocals, Galileo feels like a classic Donkeyboy number. Thankfully the track is set to be the first of many new releases from the Drammen-based synthpop stars.
The group shared on Instagram: “The It’s been a minute…But we’re finally back — and this time, it’s for real. Our new single “Galileo” drops April 4th — and it’s just the beginning. We’ll be releasing music regularly from now on…” The thought of more regular new music from Donkeyboy is a dream. The band’s most recent single was standalone track Kentucky, released back in 2021. Their most recent album was 2016’s Lost which hit #17 in the Norwegian album charts.
