Joe Pesci is known for his intense performances in the likes of Raging Bull, Goodfellas, Casino, and, the soon to be released, The Irishman. Yet many will be unfamiliar with the New York actor’s jazz music career of which he dips back into to release his third studio album, Still Singing.
Pesci has teamed up with Maroon 5 frontman – the most unexpected musical pairing of the year – for two tracks, Baby Girl and My Cherie Amour. The album also features the late jazz icon, Jimmy Scott.
The tracklist is as follows:
1. How About You
2. Falling In Love is Wonderful
3. I Remember April
4. I’ll Be Seeing You
5. Round Midnight
6. If I Should Lose You
7. My Cherie Amour (feat. Adam Levine)
8. In My Solitude
9. Folks Who Live On The Hill
10. If I Ever Lost You
11. The Nearness of You (feat. Jimmy Scott)
12. Exodus
13. Baby Girl (feat. Adam Levine)
In 1968 Pesci released his musical debut Little Joe Sure Can Sing!, he followed with a 1988 parody album based on his character from My Cousin Vinny titled, Vincent LaGuardia Gambini Sings Just for You.
Still Singing is released November 29th. The Irishman arrives two days prior.
