New York based rising star J Line has released his most recent pop anthem ‘Redo‘ – a rousing, dreamy, nostalgia-packed anthem that centres on the idea of redo-ing things with an ex.
With immaculate and slick electronic production, J Line’s smooth vocals glide across the hazy beats creating a euphoric, dreamlike blend. The up and coming talent says: “The song is about lying in bed, late at night, thinking about your ex and wondering if they still think about you too. Can they hear you as you cry for them? Are they wanting a love “redo” the same way you do. Is a redo even possible?”
With a video that echoes the synth-filled, futuristic appeal of the track’s production, Redo is further enhanced. Amazingly J notes that the video was filmed during lockdown in the singer’s apartment: “We shot this video in our one bedroom apartment in NYC during Covid-19 lockdown. I didn’t even think this was possible but thanks to Michael’s amazing eye for lighting and color, we made one of the most beautiful videos I’ve ever done!”
We’re really excited about J’s synth-filled elecropop sound. There is a sense of nostalgia, with 80s and 90s influenced felt, but J brings a freshness and contemporary excitement to his music. You can connect with his socials below:
