Very few actresses do comedy as well as Elizabeth Banks. Ever since we saw her in Zach and Miri Make a Porno in 2008 we have been swept away by her comic talents and genuine likability. Her newest film, Walk of Shame is the latest in the increasingly popular world of female-lead, R-Rated comedy.
Walk of Shame sees Banks’ local news reporter compromise her one shot at the big time by venturing out on an out-of-character drunken night out, which leaves her stranded in downtown LA with no phone, car, or money. James Marsden and Oliver Hudson co-star with Community’s Gillian Jacobs serving as a further comic ingenue.
Steve Brill (Little Nicky) both writes and directs Walk of Shame, which hits US audiences on 25 April 2014. International dates to follow.
