VINCINT burst onto our radar with the release of Be Me – a track produced for Queer Eye’s fifth season, we’ve since made it a priority to dive into his discography – a fantastic decision, if we do say so ourselves. His most recent single Hard 2 Forget debuted earlier in the week and we’ve fallen head over heels for it.
The dancefloor anthem takes the subject of getting over a past relationship and pairs it with euphoric electronic pop production. “Why would you leave me just to live in my head / So easy to love, so hard to forget / Drinking and dancing while you’re dreaming in bed / So easy to love, so hard to forget,” VINCINT sings in the expressive, infectiously catchy chorus.
VINCINT writes the track alongside James Abrahart, with production from Harrison Mead. It follows his previous singles of 2020: Save Myself, his EP The Feeling, and single Be Me. The singer, real name Vincent Cannady, came to prominence through FOX reality singing competition The Four (us either?)
