The Trailer for ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ Drops

Bravo always does a good job of surprising us with their selection for new cities to feature in the ever-popular Real Housewives franchise. However, one city we never saw coming was Salt Lake City – the Utah territory that is known for its prominent ties with the Mormon Church. How shocking can Mormons be? Well the trailer is much more diverse than you might expect.

The series will follow the exclusive social circle of Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose  and  Jen Shah, as they navigate a society fueled by religion,  beauty, wealth and perfection. People note that: “Marks is Jewish, Cosby is Pentecostal and Barlow is “Jewish by heritage and Mormon by choice,” while both Rose and Shah have left the Mormon church.” So the series may perhaps not be is reserved as the setting would suggest.

With big shake-ups rumoured in New York and Beverly Hills, Salt Lake City will have to make quite a splash to stand up against its high-profile, long-running reality television siblings. From the above trailer, we’re sure the ladies will put up a good fight.
