We recently wrote about FIA’s collaboration with queer star AlexZone 11 (Nasty), but now the artist releases her brand new mixtape, dubbed W100. The ten track set contains her most recent single Respect – an attitude-filled urban pop anthem. The press release tells us: “W100 documents the journey of FIA navigating big changes within her life and explores the euphoric highs and dark lows of her experience living and making music in London.”
It adds: “This mixtape is a product of heartbreak and abandonment leading up to the finality of FIA finding a new found freedom, independence and reclamation of self worth.”
The singer manages to convey this rich emotional range on the tracks such as the lovestruck Miss Me, the scintillating pop highs of Drip (complete with stellar electronic production), and the buoyant yet vulnerable I Tried. Check out the full tracklist below.
