Terri Nunn and fellow eighties pop legends Berlin totally floored us with their 2019 album Transcendance – which if you haven’t streamed or purchased on physical yet, you really need to. So we are delighted to see that the band are wasting no time in releasing their next studio collection, Strings Attached.
The album sees the group step away from the dancefloor where Transcendance landed and move their sound to an even more elegant domain with the help of an orchestra. The group tell us: “Working with a full philharmonic orchestra, ‘Strings Attached’ sees the band revisit some of their classic tracks, from their formation in the early 1980s through to today, including, of course, the iconic theme to the movie, Top Gun, Take My Breath Away.”
The standard CD version contains twelve tracks including their biggest hits Sex (I’m A…) and Take My Breath Away. The group note: “Strings Attached is both a time for fans to reflect on Berlin’s extraordinary career and to look forward to more new music from a band who continue to reinvent themselves.”
