Trailer: Josh Duhamel in Fire With Fire

Josh Duhamel action flick, Fire With Fire, seems to have slipped out onto DVD relatively unnoticed in the US, undeservedly so.

Duhamel plays Jeremy Coleman, a fireman forced to testify after witnessing a convenience store robbery, who is violently pursued by the robber.

With the incredibly capable David Barrett (the stunt co-ordinator of The Town, Once Upon a Time in Mexico & The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3) in charge, we are guaranteed some solid action sequences that is likely to set Fire With Fire above the rest of it’s straight to DVD competitors.

It’s also quite exciting to see Josh Duhamel finally starring in a leading action role – we’ve been fans since Las Vegas and the actor remained the only watchable asset of the Transformers franchise (he should have been the lead in our eyes). With Bruce Willis in a smaller supporting role (and not to mention Vinnie Jones and 50 Cent also), the action credentials of Fire With Fire are pretty high.

Fortunately for us in the UK, the film is set for theatrical release on the 8th of March 2013. Fire With Fire also stars Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Vinnie Jones and 50 Cent.
