KEiiNO Covers Kylie Minogue On New Version of ‘On a Night Like This’ To Celebrate ‘Eurovision: Australia Decides 2022’

KEiiNO take on one of Kylie Minogue’s most loved hits with their cover of On a Night Like This to celebrate their upcoming Australian tour and scheduled performance at Eurovision: Australia Decides 2022.

The track was the second single from Kylie’s seminal Light Years album – hitting the #1 chart spot in her native Australia and arriving at #2 in the UK. KEiiNO’s version, produced by the band’s Tom Hugo and writer Rüdiger Schramm, is quite faithful to the original production but gives it a slightly more schlager-friendly KEiiNO twist. The fusion of Tom and Alexandra’s voices on the track and of course Fred’s joiking brings some originality and freshness to this cover.

KEiiNO have also released their original album OKTA with more recent singles added on. The nineteen track set now includes delights such as End of Time (Taste of Heaven) and Transarctic Lover. You can stream that below.
