Craig David gears up for the release of his upcoming album 22 on May 13th with the release of his latest single My Heart’s Been Waiting For You featuring Duvall. The single is a nostalgic club-friendly number that features Craig’s soulful vocals against pounding electronic production.
Penned by Digital Farm Animals, Mike Brainchild, Nathan Duvall, and Tom Demac, the latest single follows Craig’s soulful MNEK collaboration Who You Are which served as the first single from the UK soul singer’s upcoming eighth studio album. The new single sees Craig reminisce about meeting the girl of his dreams “First, there was you, there was me / We were hanging out / One turned to two, turned to three / ‘Til the clubs shut down / We gotta test the bathroom at the party / You ain’t tryna chill with everybody…” the 7 Days hitmaker sings.
The tracklist for the upcoming album has yet to be confirmed, but currently numerous formats are available to pre-order.
