Rising pop talent Julius Agnvall provides a truly distinctive powerhouse sound on his debut single Strangers. The track is centred on the last moments of a breakup, the fight in a losing battle.
The musical one to watch was born to Swedish parents in Alicante, Spain before moving to Stockholm and subsequently studying in Norway at Limpi Music, Lillehammer Institute of Music Production. Blending the best of the Scandinavian music worlds, Julius co-writes with Alexander Pavelich and Carl-Viktor with the latter also producing. Strangers is a dark, dramatic pop number in which Julius delivers a vocal wracked in conviction as he compares the world of break-ups to dramatic battles – accompanied by grand, lavish choruses and commanding backing production.
Julius shared: “In contrast to my previous music, this is all a collaborative effort from some amazing people I’ve met these last 12 months. I want to give huge praise to my team and collaborators who’ve worked really hard to make this as great as possible for you, but also for making me comfortable in this new environment.”
Julius had previously spent years writing and producing music throughout his childhood in Stockholm, deciding to study the field. After his graduation he was quick to sign a management deal. We predict big things ahead for Julius and his refreshing sound.
