“Scars is a song about being brought back to life” JC Stewart shares regarding his latest single Scars. JC co-writes with Anton Hard and Linnea Sodahl, with production from Hard. Scars is big powerhouse pop track that continues to assert JC as one of the most exciting up and coming pop talents.
JC adds: “I wrote it after coming out of a weird time and realising that maybe I was meant to go through it. Maybe all the challenges and hardships are there to make us better and stronger and better equipped to love the people around us. I love the euphoria that this song gives me and it really lifts me when I’m starting to get down again. I hope it can do the same for other people!”
“I wear my scars like diamonds on a bracelet / They hurt like hell, but damn, it feels amazin’…” JC sings on the chorus, with the track shining as an uplifting ode to heartbreak and rebounding to better things.
Scars follows JC’s Armin van Buuren collaboration Come Around Again.
