Rising Pop Talent Paul Morris Drops Anthemic ‘Hide My Love’ In Honour of Pride Amsterdam

Venezuelan singer, model and actor Paul Morris is taking The Netherlands by storm and has the honour of contributing the official song for Pride Amsterdam this year. The track dubbed Hide My Love and is written by Paul and Orihana Calcines with production from TALKSICK.

Packed with lyrics with cut to the core of the importance of Pride, Paul croons “Won’t hide my love
I won’t have it, fuck that noise / Why is it so rough? / Seeing her with girls and me with boys?”
against slick, engaging electronic production which utilises guitar to keep an element of Latin pop in the fold. Paul’s vocal is one packed with conviction, where it is clear he has an emotional investment to each word he sings.

Paul shared why Pride is so important to him: “10 years ago, when I moved to the Netherlands, I will never forget when I saw my first Pride and was so glad to be living in a country that celebrates diversity. Now, 10 years later, I get to be a representant for a community that has given me a huge sense of belonging, recognition and safety.”

It is great to hear Paul sing in English again with the handsome star building up a nice diversity of global pop. Connect with Paul on Instagram and Facebook.
