New York based rising pop talent Vardaan Arora has kept us fed with standout releases such as his Heartbreak on the Dance Floor EP and singles including obsessive and damn (can you let me live), but now the musical heartthrob returns with new cut Diamond Tears.
Lyrics including “‘Cause my Diamond Tears, Are worth more than your lies, Diamond Tears, Bet this came as a surprise, Diamond Tears, Led to your demise, And I know it’s killing you inside…” shine like an elegant Bond anthem but with a queer dancefloor twist.
The artist shares on his Instagram: “i wrote this one with @itskennen [Ken Gao] during his visit to nyc. i remember telling him that i wanted to write an unapologetic club banger. one that was instantly infectious. i knew i wanted to call it diamond tears, and i wanted it to be about the strength we all possess to release ourselves from the shackles of whatever is weighing us down. my tears are as precious as diamonds, and i refuse to waste them.”
Vardaan adds “I hope this song commands you to the dance floor and acts as a reminder to release yourself from all things toxic.”
