We had the delight of sharing Connor Mac’s single Purpose with readers last month and now the twenty-five year old rising talent returns with follow-up track See Through. The Swiss based star, originally born in New Zealand, packs a smooth emotional conviction into this mid-tempo number about overcoming anxieties.
Connor shares: “The song is a message to look into our self-doubts about our own worth, whether we wear that on the surface or bury it deep within. It takes the theme of anxiety and support and as it’s an uplifting song my aim is to give confidence to people suffering from low self-esteem.”
Connor co-writes See Through with Giles Nuttall, producing the track himself at his home studio in Switzerland. The track was mastered in Australia by Grammy award winner Joe Carra. Similar to his previous releases, See Through allows Connor to deliver honest and relatable song-writing with his empowering themes set to resonate with many listeners; his rich vocals drawing us into the warm soundscape.
Connor is an artist who continues to spiral in an upwards trajectory thanks to his charismatic musical output. The star has been releasing since 2018 with his debut single Unforgettable going on to surpass over one million Spotify streams. He has since built up an expansive discography packed with a number of gems.
