Dion Cooper is set to build a whole army of European pop fans as The Netherlands’ Eurovision representative. Collaborating with fellow singer-songwriter Mia Nicolai, Dion will be hoping to replicate Duncan Laurence’s contest success, claiming another win for his home nation. Dion has built up a steady discography, including freshly released singles Blue Jeans and Know.
Both tracks showcase Dion’s ability to craft a big powerhouse pop chorus, with vocals packed with conviction. Blue Jeans sees Dion co-write with Duncan Laurence, Jordan Garfield, and L.J. van der Grinten. Know sees the same team with the addition of Wouter Hardy contribute to the lyrics. Lukaz produces both numbers.
On the release of Blue Jeans, Dion shared: “Thanks to @itsduncanlaurence @jordandelivers for writing this song with me (and being my therapists!) and @lukazmusic for co-writing and producing the song! ✨ Also thanks to @wouterhardy.producer for being a part of the song creation, and your personal support throughout the whole process.”
Dion rose to prominence on The Voice of Holland in 2015 and supported Duncan Laurence on tour. We have a good feeling about Dion bringing Eurovision glory back to Holland.
