The 2023 competitors for Latvia’s annual national selection Supernova have been unveiled with a number of welcome returns from familiar faces including Markus Riva, Tom Kalderauskis and Justs, all vying for a place at Liverpool’s Eurovision Song Contest.
Fifteen acts became fourteen as Saule has been disqualified due to his entry Finally Happy been performed live before debuting at Supernova. The submissions were whittled down from 120+ to fifteen semi-finalists. These performers will compete in a semi-final on 4 February 2023, with the lucky winners moving onto a grand final on 11 February 2023.
