Italian pop’s Man of the Moment Blanco releases his eagerly-anticipated second studio album Innamorato today. The star who catapulted to international acclaim with his stellar anthem Brividi and its accompanying San Remo and Eurovision performances, has subsequently built legions of fans across Europe.
The shining jewel at the heart of Innamorato is Un briciolo di allegria – a duet with Italian pop icon Mina, which Blanco notes: “I’m really happy with this duet, it’s a great honour for me. Mina is the queen of Italian music and I respect her very much. The fact that she decided to make a piece with me, offering me a great opportunity, immediately shows how modern and attentive she is to current music.”
A press release shares: “After a year of incredible achievements, the multi-platinum artist Blanco announces his highly anticipated new album “Innamorato”, featuring an extraordinary collaboration with MINA, the eternal voice of Italian music. The eagerly awaited return comes after the incredible chain of milestones achieved by the artist in the last year, including 2 gold records, over 2.6 billion streams on platforms, a 35-date sold out tour, the announcement of two unmissable stadium appointments and an already profound imprint on the Italian music scene.”
