Anna Bergendahl showcases another string to her bow with Dance With Me – a Latin-flavoured pop number that sees her charismatic vocals transported into a rhythmic pop landscape. Anna has deliver rootsy country-tinged pop anthems in recent years such as Melodfestivalen gems: Ashes to Ashes, Kingdom Come and Higher Power, therefore its refreshing to once again see Anna’s versatility as a performer.
Guitar-centric rhythms are paired with drum machine percussion and swirling synths to create an eclectic pop feast which Anna and David Lindgren Zacharias’s lyrics fill. “The world is on your shoulders, We’re only getting older, Have a little dance with me,” Anna sings encouraging listeners to escape life’s pressures and have a dance.
As well as being one of Sweden’s favourite pop talents, Anna has also recently graduated medical school. A woman of many talents.
