Louise is certainly delivering the goods in recent months, with the arrival of her upcoming Greatest Hits album, Louise has been dropping new and reimagined tracks. Songs such as new anthem Super Magic and reworks of Naked and Just a Step from Heaven have been amongst some of the British pop talent’s best work and new number High Hopes continues the impeccable standard.
Written by Dion Wardle, Starsmith and Rationale with production from Joshua Grant and Wayne Russel, High Hopes sees the star sing: “Give me a love / That kind of love /I never had / That kind of love / I won’t give up / And I won’t pretend / That I’m prepared / Not even scared / To let you in / You give me high hopes / That I can learn to love again…” in the track’s soaring chorus.
High Hopes is a rousing sing-a-long number that pays a passing nod to Louise’s days in Eternal delivering mid-tempo R&B inspired pop. The track will feature alongside several other highlights from the singer’s career spanning Greatest Hits arriving on June 2nd.
