The lovely Omar Rudberg pushes forward with new music, his latest single Happier continuing his ongoing partnership with Swedish label TEN Music. The new cut produced by Alex Shield and Charlotte Kjær, both of whom co-write alongside Hurts frontman Theo Hutchcraft and Scottish singer-songwriter David Sneddon.
“I could be happier / It’s looking better tomorrow / I could be happier / ‘Cause I’m ready to let go / Your love’s a losing game / I don’t wanna keep playing / I could be happier, happier…” Omar sings against a percussion heavy R&B pop flavoured melody. It’s the emotion-packed pop that Omar does so well, with The Young Royals star bringing a pathos and swagger to the number.
Happier follows previous singles I’m So Excited, Call Me By Your Name and She Fell In Love in the Summertime.
