Rising French talent Louis Albi releases his new single Pleurer de joie (Crying For Joy) co-writing with MARSÔ and Vincha on the number which channels slinky electropop vibes with glistening synths and absorbing vocals from the pop newcomer.
Louis shared to his Instagram followers: “Weeping”, “crying” are words used by some to describe us… always at the feminine… why? Because femininity is always downgraded! The strength of truth and balance is scary. Crying for joy is an ode to us “the weeping willows” who live our emotions 100%.” [Translation]
Louis hails from Villeneuve-sur-Lot in France and made a name for himself in 2022 after appearing on reality singing competition Star Academy. The rising star now resides in Paris and is working on his debut album through Sony Music France.
