Delta Goodrem returns with her first new music in two years with powerhouse eighties inspired anthem Back To Your Heart. Delta writes and produces with Matthew Copley and John Shanks, with the single being the first release on the singer’s own label, ATLED Records.
Delta shares: ”Back to Your Heart is the first song that I wanted to share off this exciting new era of music together. The song is about letting go of your worries and fears that are in your head, and remembering to get back to what you love and lead with your heart.” She continues: “It’s anthemic, epic pop. It’s all about living in the here and now, and that feels liberating.”
Back To Your Heart is lavish, power-pop of the best kind. It channels eighties Olivia Newton-John bringing an epic but very human quality to it.
On the creative process, Delta notes: “No album or music I have ever made has come together the same way as the last. I have always been inspired by the creation of music, but also the ever changing landscape of the industry. In these moments, it’s particularly thrilling to construct your own universe with like-minded individuals who have unwavering faith in you, just as you do in them. These are the hearts that will join you on the journey.”
A new album is expected to follow – as is Delta’s upcoming UK and Europe tour. See dates below.
