Cazzi Opeia’s talent should be apparent from the sheer number of hits she’s penned, including Loreen’s Eurovision winning Tattoo – as well as her impeccable solo output including her own Melfest banger I Can’t Get Enough. Now the Swedish starlet returns with the delightful Taste of Heaven, a number brimming in sheer euphoric pop panache.
Taste of Heaven is written by Ellen Berg, Jonatan Gusmark, Ludvig Evers, and Moa “Cazzi Opeia” Carlebecker. Production duties are delivered by Gusmark and Evers under their moniker of Moonshine. The star sings: “Hate to give a feeling, hate to hit a ceiling / You play (Play), show me a way to Heaven /
Of course, that give me reason, lose it to the rhythm / That bass (Bass), give me a taste of Heaven (Oh-oh)” against pulsating synths and high energy production.
We’re hoping that there is plenty more tunes to come from the wildly talented Cazzi and hopefully she is a name we see connected with Melodifestivalen 2024 in some form.
