Julius Eastwood is a name that should be on your lips, with the rising Welsh singer-songwriter impressing with his intoxicating alt-pop numbers. The star dropped Mirror (I Saw Me) late last year, a track well and truly worth your time.
Mirror (I Saw Me) is an elegant, introspective gem drenched in haunting, absorbing vocals, whilst delivering inviting alternative pop production from Jamie Amos and Andrew Ioannou. The number pairs styles of electronica with folk-flavoured mystery, transporting the listeners to mystic sonic territory. The number is the first taste of Julius’s upcoming debut EP and promises wonderful things ahead of the talent to watch. On the upcoming body of work, Julius notes: “Cannot WAIT for you to hear the rest of the EP, Mirror really set the tone for the era but the next two songs are BIG.”
Julius has also dropped numbers including the fiery political protest number Westminster’s on Fire and the richly emotive Borderlines which draws inspiration from the musician moving from Wales to London.
