Spanish pop legends Baccara return with a high energy new single, Vamos Al Cielo (which translates to We Go To Heaven). Whilst the title is in Spanish, the number is a predominantly English language hit that fans of Baccara are set to devour.
“Vamos al cielo / Now is the time for us to fall in love / We are the stars / Let us brighten up the sky again…” Cristina and Helen sing atop delicious Euro-disco production brimming with Hi-NRG synths and euphoric imagery which is complimented by a joyous video from the ladies. The number is written and produced by Luis Rodriguez and Philippe Escaño who manage to infuse Baccara’s signature Spanish sound alongside the Europop flavour thanks to some irresistible guitar work.
“We are thrilled to share ‘Vamos Al Cielo’ with the world. We hope it brings joy and excitement to all who listen,” share Cristina Sevilla and Helen de Quiroga. The number is set to feature on Baccara’s upcoming new studio album.
