He was narrowly beaten by Nebulossa’s synthpop banger Zorra at Benidorm Fest this year, but Spanish heartthrob Jorge González performed his Latin dance anthem Caliente with an impressively defiant ferocity. Now the hunk returns with his latest single PATRÁ – a fully loaded pop banger.
Jorge writes the show, whilst Carlos Almazán provides the adrenaline-fuelled production. Upon the release Jorge shared: “Patra is my new single and I’m sure we’re going to dance it this summer a lot!” The Spaniard is correct, the number is an energetic smash with the singer’s seductive vocal bouncing atop scintillating production filled with electronic beats, shotgun blasts, and pulsating percussion.
Jorge has become a firm favourite of Eurovision fans, performing at numerous Eurovision Song Contest pre-shows, Prides and festivals across Europe. Hopefully we’ll see him back on the Benidorm Fest stage sooner rather than later.
