Republica recently delighted fans with the release of previous 2024 single New York – a rousing electro-rock triumph that saw them tease their first new album since 1998. Now vocalist Saffron, keyboardist Tim Dorney and guitar/bass player Johnny Male return with even more new music from Republica. The single is Hallelujah, a barnstorming electropop anthem that sounds like classic Republica and has us truly excited about the band’s upcoming LP.
Hallelujah is set to appear on the band’s upcoming new album Damaged Gods which is slated for October this year. The track comes accompanied by a futuristic techno-rock inspired video from Ben Simon, which channels the high energy powerhouse sound of the impressive new single. Vocalist Saffron sounds incredible on the number, with her passionate vocals as bold as ever.
On previous single New York Saffron shared: “We’re so happy to be back out headlining live festivals and gigs again after lockdown and delighted at the reactions from the crowds and every audience who seemed to have taken ‘New York’ to their hearts already, as it has become a firm live favourite. So for us it means the world to have the opportunity to finally release new material through Armalyte Records.”
