We have long since dreamed of a new album from Vanessa Williams who hasn’t released a full length LP since 2009’s The Real Thing. Vanessa is set to lean into her pop roots on freshly announced album Survivor – which will be with in a matter of days on August 23rd 2024. To tide us over until the album, Vanessa releases iLike Moonlight, her latest single, this week.
Vanessa has already blessed up with almighty dance smashes Legs (Keep Dancing) and BOP! from the album, which showcase the star’s high energy pop sound that she soared with on anthems like Two of a Kind and The Right Stuff. The album is set to feature a diverse array of Vanessa’s style with a mix of genres showcased on the upcoming Survivor LP. The tracklist can be seen below the jump.
It is hoped that Vanessa will deliver some physical versions of the new album. The thought of playing a new Vanessa Williams vinyl in 2024 is truly thrilling!
