Italian actor and musician Michele Morrone releases his first single from his new label 477 Records, Leave Me, which sees him collaborate with US singer-songwriter Two Feet.
The number sees Michele co-write with Two Feet and Geoffrey Hufford – the latter who also produces alongside Two Feet. The number is a cathartic plea for isolation, with Michele’s emotive vocals shining atop impressive acoustic-guitar driven percussion, whilst absorbing electronic production effects are folded into the mix. The number is vulnerable, showcasing Michele’s depth as a songwriter and emoter of music.
Michele shared with Instagram followers: “Working with Two Feet was one of the best gifts life could give me. I remember the first time in the studio together. I understood that day, through his passion for what he does, that music was also for me that magic that flows through my veins, and I only have to thank him if I still create it today because I was about to abandon my musical career.”
The 365 Days star adds: “He took me and made a fire explode inside me again, that will never end. An incredibly sensitive man, an artist without equal, a super polite person. I learned, and I’m still learning a lot from him.”
We’re eager to hear more of what Michele has been cooking up in the studio, with hopes a third album from the star may be on the horizon.
