South African star ELANDRÉ has been hard at work creating music within the Afrikaans music scene for the past nine years, but now the English language has come calling for the musician. ELANDRÉ releases his debut in the language The Brink, a truly addictive country-pop earworm with smooth melodies and distinctive country-accented vocals from the musician.
With producer Ruan Graaff, ELANDRÉ has created four tracks which arrive in EP The Brink on December 27th. The musician shared: “Showing interest in possibly introducing my music to a wider global market, the super cool team from the US label encouraged me to produce some original English tracks.”
ELANDRÉ adds: “Wasting no time, I called upon the co-producers for my latest album: Estetika. In four fun days, we created and submitted four demos. As of yet we haven’t received the news we still hope for, but the belief in these songs led to us releasing them regardless, as my very first independent English EP.”
If The Brink is a sign of things to come in the rest of the Afrikaan star’s upcoming EP then we are truly excited to hear more from the musician.
